Francesco Fonderico
Francesco Fonderico was awarded his law degree in 1990 from the University of
Rome "La Sapienza" (J.D. summa cum laude). He received a JSD degree in
Government Organization and Operations and was a teaching assistant for Administrative
Law at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Since 1998, he has been
Professor of Environmental Law at the School of Economics at the University of Tuscia.
He assisted, as an expert, the Cabinet Council and the Secretary of the Minister
Secretary of State in charge of the Public Administration (1993-1994). In 1993 he
became a member of the Ministerial Committee in charge of steering the reform of
Environmental Administration. He was also a member of many research committees sponsored
by both public and private institutions, such as the University of Rome, the
University of Tuscia, the Institute of regional studies, Nomisma, the Institute
of Environment, the Lombardia Foundation for the Environment, Confindustria.
Francesco Fonderico usually contributes to legal journals, such as the "Rivista
trimestrale di diritto pubblico" (Quarterly Journal of Public Law), the "Giornale
di diritto amministrativo" (Journal of Administrative Law), "Ambiente"
(Environment), and the author of approximately 80 articles focused on administrative
and environmental law. He also is a frequent lecturer on these topics.
