Gianni Guarnieri
Gianni Guarnieri obtained his law degree from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1987
(J.D., summa cum laude). He qualified as a lawyer in 1990 and worked for eleven years in the Italian
Ministry of Industry – the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources as a legal expert in energy
sources and was in charge of litigation issues in the electric sector.
Admitted to the Rome Bar in 2002, he has been assisting private and public companies operating
in the areas of energy (electricity, gas, oil) and public utilities, also providing legal
counselling in the acquisition of both conventional and renewable power plants.
