Mario Gallavotti

Mario Gallavotti was admitted to Rome in 1973. He is also admitted to the Italian Supreme Court and is a Certified Auditor. He has served as President of the Young Lawyers at the Rome Bar and national Secretary of the same.

In 1976, Mario Gallavotti was a visiting lawyer of the U.S Law Firm Kutak, Rock & Huie, and had several work experiences abroad. In 1982 he opened an office in Los Angeles where he spent long periods acquiring wide experience of the American judicial and legal system.

Mario Gallavotti specializes in Civil law and Corporate law and his practice is mainly focused on M&A, Entertainment and Sport law, Copyright and Intellectual property law, International law.

Mr. Gallavotti represents several major Italian and International corporations focused on these areas and he matured a large professional experience drafting international agreements and also as a litigator practising before Courts and Arbitration Panels, both domestic and international, in general corporate matters and in the entertainment and professional football matters.

Mr. Gallavotti regularly represents the Italian Motion Pictures industries in several technical panels and he is a member of several professional football organizations. In 2001 he was part of the FIFA/UEFA task force who negotiated and drafted with European Commission the FIFA Regulations on the transfer of professional football players. He is a member of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber since 2001 and since 2007 he is a member of the UEFA Legal Committee.

Mr. Gallavotti is a frequent lecturer in various areas of Civil law, Entertainment and Sport law.

He speaks English and French fluently.
