Silvia de Marco

Silvia de Marco specialises in corporate and commercial litigation and consultancy in the commercial area. She developed a wide experience in the foundations, associations and banking area of practice.

In particular, Silvia participated in the legislative procedure regarding the renewal of general contracts between banks and consumers, as recommended by the Italian Supreme Court. Moreover, she has a thorough understanding of the main issues regarding corporate bankruptcy.

Since 1989 she is assistant lecturer at the University of Naples "Federico II" where she held several seminars and lectures on the most important contemporary civil law issues. Since 1995 she's admitted to the bar in Italy.

Silvia is also a professor of civil law at the University of Naples "Federico II" (2005 - 2008) and the author of several publications on issues regarding compound interest, foundations and association and consumer protection.

After her J.D. at the University of Naples "Federico II" she achieved a Ph. D. in Comparative Civil Law at the University of Palermo.
